In the Socratic seminar about the book “To Kill a Mockingbird” I believe I did a proficient job at participating. I contributed to the conversation when I brought up the question “Do you guys think the trial would have ended differently had Mayella Ewell told the truth?” This question was brought up by me after something about Atticus, the only white man to stand up for a black man was said. ““Tom was a dead man the minute Mayella Ewell opened her mouth and screamed.” This proves that whatever Mayella would have said, Tom would have been killed due to how society was built.
