Andrew Jackson was an autocratic leader. I know this because of the documents for the Spoils System, the Indian Removal, and the National Bank Controversy. The first reason that Andrew Jackson was an autocratic leader was because of the Indian Removal. The first party of the Indian Removal was Jackson sending a letter to the Indians stating that they had to move to a restricted area, and not be able to go anywhere outside of it. This was not right because Jackson had no right to take people out of their living quarters and move them somewhere else. The Indians responded with a friendly protest, stating that they had not done anything wrong. Jackson continued to force them out without rights, which is why this event made him an autocratic leader.
