There is no doubt that all of these three presidents were great leaders and role models for this country. However there is one that sticks out above all, to me that is Tohmas Jefferson. Tohmas Jefferson moved our country forward more than any other president. Whether it be the louisianna purchase or the westward expansion of Lewis and Clark.
Abraham Lincoln was a great leader and president who had a great heart and wanted to do what was right. Howvwer in his case he did what was right but while doing that he enraged that south causing a civil war. That was one of the things he did that sets him behind Tohmas jefferson. He did a lot of great things for this country and he will never be forgotten. The main reason I think Tohmas trumps George Washington is because George didn't really do all that much to advance the country, to become a better stronger, and more globally competitive country. That could be due to the fact that he was the first president and he had just fought in the revolutionary war I don't really know. Tohmas Jefferson however did wonder for the country. I mentioned earlier how he sent Lewis and Clark on their famous expedition. Anoher major thing he did was purchase what is now that state of Louisianna from france. That was absolutley huge . What that did was give a giant port that would allow us to trade with other countires, give us accessto the ocean to go and trade with other countries. Even bigger it gave us access to the Mississipi river. Without that Lewis and Clark never would have been able to explore and the westward expansion would have never even began. George was a great president don't get me wrong, it's just that Jefferson did a whole lot
