Sombre: something very sad and serious. The tone usually suggests unhappy feelings about the events, person or place.
Childish or naive: Having an almost child-like and simple-minded understanding or point of view, misunderstanding. Showing a lack of maturity, where the story might reveal how little a character might understand about the events happening around them. Look for spelling mistakes or words that are mispronounced like b’sketti for spaghetti or lellow for yellow.
Pessimistic or bleak: a feeling of despair and a sense of hopelessness is created. Having or showing a lack of hope: expecting bad things to happen.
Dramatic: feelings that are over-the-top/ extreme. Usually used to intensify emotions.
Enthusiastic: showing an eagerness or sense of excitement about what is going to or might happen.
Fearful: shows a sense they are afraid of something or someone. A sense of impending danger, feeling afraid of something or fear of harm may be created.
