Toni Morrison is a famous African American author. Her original name is Chloe Ardelia
Wofford She has wrote amazing stories From “The Bluest Eye” to “Tar Baby “She is known for writing about her Experience in a black community. Toni was born in Lorain, Ohio on February 18, 1931. She is Now 87 years young. Her father’s name is George Wofford. Her mother’s name is Ramah Wofford. She has two brothers and one sister. Their names are George Carl Wofford, Raymond Allen Wofford, and Lois Brooks.

Toni graduated from Lorain High School. She went to Howard University And graduated with her B/A in English classic minor in 1953. She also went to Cornell University and graduated with her …show more content…
She also Taught at the State University of New York for about three to four years.

Toni Morrison got married to Harrison Morrison in 1958. They got divorced in 1964.The Couple has two sons together. Their names are Slade Morrison and Harold Ford Morrison.

The first book she wrote was titled ‘’The Bluest Eye’’. It was published 1970. The

Bluest Eye is about a little girl her

sibling and her parent. In the book the little girl parents are trying to make ends meet but the

little girl wants all of their attention to be on her. Her father drinks a lot but sometimes way to

think way too much. Her mother tense to distance herself from them. The little girl mother and

father often beats each other.

There is a little girl by the name of pecola. Pecola is one of the little kids that they took in.

Pecola thinks that if she had blue eyes that her life would be much better than it is now. She says

that she can feel her ugliness.

Her ‘’best friend’’ makes fun of her alone with others. She gets blamed for something that she
