Tony La Russa was born on October 4, 1944 in Tampa Florida. Tony went to school at Jefferson High School. He went on to college at Florida State University and later transferred to the University to South Florida. Tony married Luzette Sarcone but later got divorced and married Elane Sarcone. Tony has four daughters. He is one of the greatest managers in the history of major league baseball. Tony’s major league debut was on May 10, 1963, for the Kansas City Athletics. Tony got traded to several teams such as the Kansas City Athletics, Atlanta Braves, and the Chicago Cubs. He then became a manager for the Chicago White Sox, Oakland Athletics, and the St. Louis Cardinals. Tony has made several accomplishments such as 6 World Series championships
