A scenario whereby a company successfully integrated the element of "Fun" into their products would be one of the leading fashion names, Topshop, making the product AR Door, a virtual fitting room built on the most sophisticated technologies, augmented reality and Microsoft Kinect. Augmented reality allows the customers to select a garment off the rack without having to try it on physically. Through the AR Door screen, the user would be able to see themselves on the screen with a 3D copy of a dress. The Kinect allows users to control the program by simple gestures by pushing virtual buttons in the air. By creating a virtual fitting rooms would eliminate the concept of having fitting rooms in stores, it would then save the time in which a user being have to step into one and change and try on different outfits. When Topshop first released the idea of a virtual fitting room it had garnered many positive reviews and users have found them to be rather fun to use and interact with.

Nike has created a Digital Retail Experience. An experience which combines retail store, eCommerce and mobile customer journeys all at the same time. The solution was launched in a Berlin flagship store during 2015. In consist of 3 stand alone terminals, that would allow users to customize and purchase products ranging from shoes and shirts, interact and compare the different kind of shoes and at the same time there is a social media wall that allow users to look at updates of different campaigns and social media bursts. What Nike was intending to target is a whole new different in-store experience for the consumers, allowing them to have fun, enjoy and at the same time being able to purchase their desired products just like they would have in any other retail
