The past of the whole world is mostly filled with leaders trying to do better thing for there countries,( not only The United States) some leaders only cared about themselves. There have been so many important leaders throughout history that have affected our life today. Two important leaders in history are Toussaint L’Ouverture and Napoleon Bonaparte. Toussaint affected Haiti in 1791 and Napoleon Bonaparte was in 1799. The years aparted is not really far at, so that means they would have similarities and differences. For example, both of them wanted peace and the best for their country but they did it in different ways.
