Jumping on a trampoline is an efficient way to lose weight, but there are many other benefits than weight loss when it comes to a trampoline. Trampolines offer incredible balance, stability, and they also offer low impact on the joints. Even a mini trampoline can be used for rebounding which is a kind of balance work out that can increase bone density (Halse n.p.). Yes for some people they cannot just go out and buy a trampoline, but that is okay. Many people can still do bounding techniques without a trampoline. Unlike running bounding and other forms of jumping on the trampoline offer strength building. Bounding without a trampoline though puts much more stress on the joints. This can dealt with by wearing a knee brace or other form of supporter on the leg. Both Forms of exercise build cardio. The combination of running for hard days and jumping on the trampoline for recovery days. The best part is that either way cardio is being put into the body, and impact on the body is cut in half. This is a good thing because it also narrows down the chance of injury (Halse n.p.). Trampolines are also just a lot of fun if needing to get outside, or need some time to think. Much like running trampolines release the same type of chemicals in the brain into the body. This occurs because the cardio vascular muscles are being worked either way.
