The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants by Ann Brashares and The Prey by Tom Isbell, although about two completely different things, have many similar aspects about them. Both books have completely different plots. The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants is about a group of friends who share a pair of jeans throughout the summer to keep their friendship strong. On the other hand, The Prey is about a group of “less thans”, boys with physical or mental disabilities, and a group of “sisters”, all girls who are/were twins, that join together to try to escape the “brown shirts”, who are people that are eventually going to try to kill them all.
