Fog-horn – a device that makes a loud noise to warn ships in fog.

Ch2, Q3. What is the situation or problem? A man comes into the inn looking for someone named Billy. Jim knows the man is speaking about the Captain. He tells the man the captain would be here shortly. The captain arrives and yells “Black-Dog!”. The two begin to talk which soon leads to the Captain trying to kill this “Black-Dog” but begins to have a stroke, leading to “Black-Dog” to get away.

If I could, I would ask the main character why he sat in the apple barrel. I have never heard of anyone get their clothes from a bin to sit in it afterwards. He may have been tired but to me it seems like it would have been very tight in the barrel, It would be more understandable if he leaned against it, or any wall near the barrel.

Ch12, Q20. The character I find most interesting is Long John Silver because he, unless I have read it wrong, is the only one that actually sounds like a pirate. Out of all these people he seems to be the only one with a parrot and or a peg-leg. Also he is planning on stealing all the gold for himself. If I have to point this out, in every pirate movie in existence there are many people with any of the three characteristics Silver has.
