As the years went on, we became best friends. We spent a great deal of time together. He was even in all of my classes from first grade to fourth grade. We did, however have lunches together and that’s when we hung out.
During late elementary school and junior high, I started to talk to and hang out with others. I called most of my friends, including Trevor, the “nerd squad”. That’s what we were, a bunch of nerds. I had found friends that shared interests with me. We all loved gaming, along with other things that others would consider nerdy. When I met Spencer Herman, who is now part of my “nerd squad”, he disliked me at first. He kept insisting that Trevor was his best friend, not mine. Over time, he became one of my closer friends despite being a grade behind me.
Last year, I met Jonathan Harris. I actually didn’t actually learn his last name until recently (from when I wrote this). He shared my newfound interest in anime and manga. Often we would both say, “I’m not a weeaboo, I’m an otaku. They’re completely different”.
My point of all of this was to show that, I have made several friends, yet Trevor was my only best friend. I am thankful for being able to befriend the amazing people I call my
