¡Buenos dias! As a student at Bearspaw Christian School, I am looking forward to one of the most exciting experiences of my life! From April 1-10th, 2016, two teams of grade 11 students will travel to the small city of Tactic in Guatemala to participate in our school’s Mission to Guatemala outreach trip. The training will include a number of fundraisers, some Spanish lessons and songs, and planning for crafts, games and dramas along with team building exercises. We will be learning about the culture of Guatemala, the social and historical changes in Guatemala, and the religious syncretism that exists there. The most significant aspects of this trip for me will be the opportunities to grow in my own faith and experiencing a the Guatemalan culture. It is my desire that I will grow deeper in my relationship with God and help hurting people who live in a very different culture than my
