File Servers
A file server is a type of server which helps to manage the files on the computer in a network. A file server is used on the computer so that it would allow the user to different workstation and gain access their files and documents, they would also be able to share the files and documents to other users. Active Directory
Active Directory is an essential part of the directory services as it provides all the other directory services such as, account management and authentication management for the users within a network. So, a server manages the account through active directory which is very useful for users as it will help them to manage their accounts in which it does not restrict users from basic functions.

So, a website is run by a web server which is found by a network and includes the internet or LAN and even WAN as it is used by people around the world. The web enables users to connect with the main web server which can occur if users are sharing files and this is also done through LAN or WAN.
E-mail server
A mail server is a server that handles the network’s e-mail needs. It is configured with e-mail server software, such as Microsoft Exchange Server. Exchange Server is designed to work with Microsoft Outlook, the e-mail client software that comes with Microsoft Office. Most mail servers actually do much more than just send and receive electronic mail.
