As I walked up the stairs of the front porch I felt myself becoming more and more anxious, as if I were going to explode. I rang the doorbell with my sweaty hands, waiting for someone to let me in. “Hi honey!” Mom exclaimed as she opened the door, “Hey mom.” I grumbled. “Is there something wrong?” “Do you feel sick? !” “Are you hungry?” “Oh my gosh you’re so pale!” Mom rambled on, “No mom I’m fine but we need to talk.” I gathered the entire family in the living room, Mom, dad, sam, and lola. “So, what’s been troubling you?” Ryan asked Beth, her face turned red. She thought she was good at hiding how nervous she was, but Ryan was very good at reading people she loved and hated about him. “I shouldn’t have come here.” She said, “Why?
