I could easily stare, puzzled at the “Untitled document” on my computer screen. In place of where a title should go describing a piece of work to an understanding extent, Google artificially titles every individual project with the words, “Untitled Document”. This predominantly suggests that the author of the work is to come up with the title or definition of their own individual piece, bending and morphing these few important words to fit their style and form of writing. Ultimately, the title depends on the overall message held within the piece of literature; it depends on the purpose of the work and the effect the work has on its audience. In the beginning of a short story, an author may want to give her work a certain title; as she continues to write this short story, she may decide that the story is in need of a different title. As soon as the author is completely finished with her story can she adequately title her work.

These glasses, while they were essential to my well- being, isolated me from my peers. If my exclusion from the group was not a product of the treatment I was receiving from my peers than it was the way I viewed myself wearing those glasses, the identity I assigned myself. While I excelled in my academics and athletics, my unostentatious attitude prevented me from being the leader I could have been.
