Go out and get busy.”( dale carnegie quotes) According to dale carnegie, Fear is a really hard thing to overcome but fears in school are very harder because there is a lot of people around you accomplishing things people are scared to do. This freshman year has gone by fast I have overcome many things including some of my fears like not being able to make upperclassmen friends, doing a presentation in front of the class, and not passing my exams.
Not being able to make upperclassmen friends was one of my hard fears but i faced it and got over it and made a bunch of upperclassmen friends. An example of me trying to make upperclassmen friends was when i was in seminar i didn't sit with the people i knew i sat with a senior cause i wanted to make new friends it was weird at first but then he ended up helping me with my work. It may seem hard at first but in the end making upperclassmen friends is really worth it. I sat with that one senior and it made a difference because then my friends made friends with him then i became friends with some of his friends that were also seniors or juniors. An example of me facing my fear of presenting in front of class was I had to do a presentation and I told my teacher I was scared and didn't think I could do it she told me to practice in front of my parents or practice in my head before I gave the presentation. Doing all that stuff that my teacher told me to do helped a lot. Being scared of doing a presentation should not be the most scary thing because it is very easy if you don't think about it. If u think to much about it I will bring a lot of stress and anxiety. Doing practice or studying before a presentation is a very good thing to do to help overcome a
