Civil Unions/ Same-sex Marriages What would you consider a social problem? When considering social problems the first thing you may think of is an issue that is socially unacceptable and can cause issues in the everyday life of people in society. Same-sex marriage has been a really big issue for some time now and it is hard to believe that there are still so many people that do not agree with civil unions. Religion and plain all around disgust plays a big role in why civil unions are socially unacceptable. There are nearly seventy percent of the people in the United States that are against homosexuality. Everyone has a right to live their lives the way that they choose. It is time to stand up for what is right. As long as those that choose to live their lives as homosexuals and they do not try to force their personal beliefs on others they should rightfully be able to live and marry just like a heterosexual couple. Same-sex marriage is a civil issue in America, in so many words it is just socially and religiously unacceptable, however there has been a slow but steady change in many states, it is not going to be so easy to accept in many other places therefore civil unions are not going to be accepted everywhere. Surprisingly America is not fully on board with civil unions. It is still a huge controversial issue and as it gets more and more publicity same-sex marriage is going to continue to grow as an issue or be resolved one day to satisfy everyone. Calling something marriage does not make it marriage. Marriage has dependably been a pledge between a man and a lady which is by its tendency requested to the reproduction and training of youngsters and the solidarity and wellbeing of the companions. “The promoters of same-sex “marriage” propose something entirely different. They propose the union between two men or two women. This denies the self-evident biological, physiological, and psychological differences between men and women which find their complementarily in marriage. It also denies the specific primary purpose of marriage: the perpetuation of the human race and the raising of children. Two entirely different things cannot be considered the same thing” (TFP Student Action, 2015). Marriage is an extraordinary relationship between individuals. It is a relationship established in human instinct and hence administered by common law. There are numerous reasons why individuals contradict gay relational unions. The most obvious reason is that individuals are not happy with the thought. The actuality the individuals aren't happy with the thought stems essentially from the way that for a long time, society has advanced the thought that a marriage between individuals from the same sex is ridiculous, fundamentally in light of the complaints raised previously. At the same time if those complaints don't bode well, not one or the other does the thought that gay marriage is essentially preposterous. Social orders have since quite a while ago perceived that permitting social liberties to specific gatherings may insult some, and on occasion, even the dominant part. Even though religion should not play a big part when it comes to the views of society but in America it seems to have a lot of effects on the views of civil unions and same sex marriages. Numerous Mormons contradict gay marriage in light of the fact that they trust it outrages everything religion remains for. Numerous run of the mill religions accept that the gay way of life is totally corrupt. Mormons are one of the fundamental religions that contradict gay marriage (Bidstrup, 2000). The establishment of marriage is a socially characterized organization. We ought to perceive that social qualities have changed following the Bible was composed, alongside the foundation of marriage. Same-sex marriage is only one all the more piece of the developmental methodology. The main thing that ought to
