Uranus And Saturn Research Paper

Uranus and Neptune are distinctly bluer than Jupiter and Saturn due to Uranus's and Neptune's atmosphere being mainly composed of methane gas. The methane gas in the atmosphere absorbs red and orange light which then allows blue and green light to pass through. Jupiter's and Saturn's atmosphere is composed of hydrogen and helium which lets orange and brownish light pass through. The differences between the internal structures of the four planets is that both Uranus and Neptune are smaller planets and their interior is composed of a thick, slushy mantle of water, ammonia, and methane ices. Furthermore, they both have a rocky core about the size of Earth. The two planets both lack the deep metallic mantle which can be found on Jupiter and Saturn
