Many people argue that some of the social reasons such as poverty, mothers inability to cope up with another child and the mother being too young to cope up with a child as some of the reason to carry out abortion. The main point of the utilitarian approach should be that the consequences should be for the benefit of the larger population rather than individual people. The reasons for carrying out abortion under the social reasons should be clearly evaluated to determine the sincerity of the particular situation and the repercussions (Sinha, par.6). Moreover, abortion can be evaluated as a matter of government policy. The government, in this case, may come up with some regulations that support abortion for various reasons. For example, the government may support abortion for regulating the population size, regulating some groups of people within a population and also improving the livelihood of its citizens. In this regard, a high population has been highly correlated to poverty and abortion just like the use of contraceptives may be used to curb this
