Marketing companies products and packaging appeals to a young audience by using bright colored packaging and fruit and candy flavors. That is why bright colors and flavors attract the youth. Vaping companies are targeting the youth using the same themes and techniques that the tobacco industry uses to target youth. Some people claim vaping can help get over the addiction to cigarettes. That may be true, however, vapes have many more harmful chemicals than cigarettes. Even if vaping helps someone stop smoking cigarettes, the person is now addicted even more to vaping than that person was to cigarettes. Now that person's mental health is even worse. People should not vape because it is addictive and vaping companies target people under the age of 25.
