Before we get to the orientation of the movie we get a prologue that foreshadows what is to come in the movie. It opens in a desert scene with dramatic Arabian music playing in the background. This scene is interrupted by American tourists who come barreling through the desert and the music changes to a more upbeat tune, indicating the culture of the tourists. They get off the bus and a boy with a toy plane climbs into an obviously restricted and unsafe area and falls on to the pyramid of Gisa. This is when we discover that the pyramid has been stolen and replaced by a blow up pyramid. This sets up the entire movie's plot and is the reason behind many of the characters actions.
