Verizon FiOS Analytical Paragraph
Verizon FiOS is a high speed television, internet and phone service. In large, bold letters, the advertisement says that the service is $89.99 per month, and in small print it says that that price does not include taxes, fees, equipment, or the RSN fee. The advertisement for this service was primarily targeted at adults around 30 to 50, with children. The advertisement uses several persuasive techniques and claims to convince its target audience that they should purchase Verizon FiOS because it is the fastest, highest quality and most reliable service. The advertisement mainly uses “special offers”, “transfer”, “unfinished claims”, “weasel words”, “testimonials”, “facts and figures”, and “unique claims” to convince people to purchase it.
