With the introduction on electronics and video games, how does this affect society? Almost all children have experienced the thrill and captivity of a game in this era, however the effects are plainly seen. Video games have mostly negative effects on children because they influence violence and disrupt productive learning. Video games often encourage and promote violence. For example, in the book “Ender’s Game” by Orson Scott Card, the main character Ender becomes increasingly violent as the training games continue. In the beginning, Ender is presented as a gentle yet intelligent boy, however, through the course of training stimulations in which he is required to destroy monsters, he becomes cold and harsh, even going as far as
