The first time I traveled to Virginia Beach was in March 2015, and the second time I went was in May 2017. The road trip to Virginia Beach was a long drive the first and the second times going up there, but the drive back wasn't as long as the drive up. While driving up there I thought the sights of everything I saw were beautiful because everything was so different and new to me, compared to what I usually see in Rockford every day. We just had to go through one more state. Getting back on the road wasn’t too much of an excitement for me, I was ready to get to Virginia, so I can have some fun and enjoy the beach. Driving on the highway I saw a lot of trucks, there were trucks after trucks and a small amount of cars. Getting closer and closer to the tunnel my stomach started to hurt, I didn’t want to look while going through there. But when we finally went through it I realized that it wasn’t so bad after all. It took us almost like 5 to 7 minutes to get through the tunnel. Finally, we got through the tunnel, and we were in Virginia Beach, coming out all I smelt was ocean and a little of fish, I also seen a battleship I thought that was cool. My aunt was happy to see us, and she couldn’t wait to show us the beach and around where she lives. I was kinda disappointed because we couldn’t go swim in the ocean, because it was to chilly and the water was freezing, but over all the week I spent there I had an amazing time and couldn’t wait to return
