The outside are was also extremely small and the toys and equipment was very limited. Looking at the outside are it seemed boring and not a place that offered a lot for them to do then make up games to play with each other. With such a small amount of balls, and other toys sharing was something that I constantly saw being a lesson, some struggled while others have already become comfortable with sharing and waiting for their turn. There were two benches that were covered by a gazebo, there was on jungle gym area were the child had two slides as well as some climbing areas. There was a bike trail were the kids could ride on the bikes, as well as a grass area with balls to play with. Most of the children played on the bike bath or jungle gym. Most of the play that I had witnessed was imaginative play and there were only two situations were a child got upset but the teacher assistants were able to diffuse the situation at hand rather quickly. I did enjoy seeing the children become very creative with the small space they were limited too, all of the games they would play and be able to play nicely and work as a team together. A lot of the children seemed to be rather helpful to one another if they were confused or stuck in a certain situation. Overall the space seemed to be an area that the children could enjoy since they have gotten comfortable with the area, it would be recommended …show more content…
While being there was not as much conflict as I thought there would be. The children did very well with one another and really respected ones personal space. There would be moments to where the child would get frustrated and try to get another child to participate in the negative play but with the amount of teachers in the class it was very easy to diffuse the situation and have one apologize to one another before moving on to the next activity. The children also felt very comfortable with the teachers and when they had an accident they knew to come straight to the teacher and have them help clean up, whenever a child had a personal issue they knew who directly to go to without causing a scene. A lot of the children played with each other I didn’t see so much one group with only one gender. Each group of free play and outside play seemed to be mixed, at times they would split up and go against each other in tag or other games going against each other, but with the different genders all playing together it was very surmising that there wasn’t more issues. When there was conflict between one another the teacher would approach the situation by getting eye level with the students and asking each child’s side of the story allowing either one to get interrupted. Out of the few times that there were conflict the child very easily got over the argument and was able to
