The museum I visited for this assignment was the Art & Culture Center of Hollywood, to which I got to see various types of artwork. The one that caught my attention, however, was a specific painting by Elizabeth Condon. This painting is called “White Lines” and was created by Condon in 2011. The medium of the painting is acrylic on linen and the dimensions are 84” by 90”.
Condon, originally born in Los Angeles, CA, spent most of her time between Tampa, FL and Brooklyn, NY. Her style of art reaches back to her youth and being raised in Southern California as a child, focusing specifically on landscapes as well as the rock club scene she experienced in LA in the early 1970s and so on.
