I live in the city of Chicago, Illinois. Chicago is the third largest city in the United States. It is a huge city with a tremendous population. Chicago is the city of my birth and definitely my favorite place. Chicago, like many other big cities, have a number of features, some of which will attract newcomers while others will keep them away.
There are many attractions and always something to do in Chicago. The city never sleeps you can hear the city as you open your door ; planes overhead, vehicles constantly passing by, construction work and the everyday interactions of the residents. Chicago is a beautiful city with a tourist lake front (Lake Michigan). The lake front stretches miles from the south side of Chicago to the north side. There are several main attractions along the way: The Chicago Bear’s Soldier Field, the Shedd Aquarium, the Navy Pier, the Science Industry Museum, the Field Museum, the Aldler Planetarium and the Art institute of Chicago. Chicago have several professional sports teams (Chicago Bears, Bulls, White Sox, Cubs and Blackhawks). Chicago is also known for some of its food as well; famous for its Chicago style hot dogs, pizza, Italian beefs, caramel mixed popcorn (which you can smell from anywhere in downtown Chicago). Maxell Street is famous for its Polish, you can smell them from quite a distance even riding by on the expressway.
Chicago is a city full of life. Here, people are cooperative and you can enjoy one’s joy and happiness in company of others. In Chicago, help is always available, even if you don’t ask for it. This is a great attribute to Chicago which makes it special to me. You can enjoy the attractions and events to the full extent of your desire. During these gatherings people become closer even if they don’t know each other. It is the mood during these events, which brings us together. The people of Chicago also share each
