Since enlisting in the military I have had the privilege to work with outstanding personnel; be they Lower Enlisted, NCOs, Officers, or Warrant Officers. Seeing the discipline and technical skills that the Warrant Officers I have worked with possessed, made my desire to become part of the Warrant Office Cohort a permanent goal for my career. I understand that this opportunity, like the others the Army has offered is a privilege that must be earned with hard work; not just easily handed to an individual. I believe that I am fully capable of earning that privilege today.

At the completion of AIT, I was placed in the 117th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion and within the first few months in the unit we were set to deploy. During our various training exercises in preparation for deployment I was able to develop my leadership skills by cross-training my section, which consisted of Signal Support System Specialists, to perform IT Specialist functions with ease. During my deployment I was able to work with Higher Headquarters to extend my technical skills in networking by expanding my area of operation

My focus and ability to grasp things quickly have contributed greatly to my move into the Security Administrator position and my participation in the Cyber Team. One of my greatest strengths is possessing a can do attitude at all times. I find it easy to be energetic and ready to take care of Soldiers. I have strong motivation in my responsibilities throughout the day. I work to keep a positive attitude and help motivate others to do the same. I like to keep people focused on a goal, and never shy away from a challenge, which is a great asset in the Military environment. I believe I have an excellent understanding of what the expectations are and the policies and procedures that must be followed to achieve
