The 20th century is known as the era of prosperity and some even consider it to be the Golden Age. However, the last decade has instilled great fear among citizens which the war on terror. There has been a noticeable increase in terrorist attacks, and honor killings in the past few years. However, what makes these attacks unusual is often times the killer or killers justify their actions by saying it is what God wants or that a higher power told them to commit that crime. This has not been the first time where people have justified their actions by God’s Will. During the Charlie Manson trials, it was known that Charlie Manson believed that messages in a Beetle’s song instructed him and his followers to kill many innocent people.
