On the night of April 18, 1775, at Lexington, Massachusetts, the British were planning an attack on the colonists(Leehey)(“Paul Revere”). Paul Revere had to warn Samuel Adams and John Hancock of the oncoming British attack. Paul Revere and William Dawes were on the ride to warn them(“Paul Revere”). They were later joined by Samuel Prescott(Leehey). They had to ride on Horseback to warn Adams and Hancock(“Paul Revere”). If that method failed, then they had set up another warning system
