In the article, “Water Controversies Boil Over”by Mat Weiser, Published on April 26, 2009, he tries to bring peace and honesty to the fight over our lack of water. In 2009, “46 nations risk violent conflict over water and climate-related crises, and 56 other countries face political instability…” (WCBO, 4/26/2009). This means that 46 nations were risking war over water. There are many important things on Earth that we need in order to survive; food, oil, oxygen, and, one of the most important, water. Water almost tops the charts, following oxygen. So, we obviously need water.
