Max Beerbohm says, “We must stop talking about the American dream and start listening to the dreams of Americans.” This is a very important quote from many years ago that applied to the life of Americans then and surely applies to the life of Americans now. Are all the decisions being made really what we want? The authority needs to listen to everyone. This also mean that we need to start listening to each other and not being selfish. America is a great place with great people. We need to start believing that and making other countries believe it. Not everyone in the world is the same. Not even close. If we were all the same don’t you think that would be boring, it would. Because you have different talent than her and she has different talents than him and if we were all the same, nothing would get done. In that way we are not all equal, and because of that we all don’t get to be treated equally. Which isn't fair. Mostly everyone in America is doing their part, contributing to the US, if we are all doing something, don’t you think we should all be treated equally. Which in my opinion is very wrong. The flag the many people fought and even died for, they died for us so WE could have the freedoms and rights that we do. They died so we could be free and now we think that it is acceptable to burn their flag, it’s not.
