There were several rhetorical elements that are used in Winston Churchill's speech "We Shall Fight on Beaches." One of that caught my eye the most was anaphora. This means a particular rhetorical figure of reptition, meaning the same phrase or words used over and over again, usually in the beginning or end of phrases and sentences etc. For example in Churchill's speech he repeats "we shall fight" at the end of it. The effects that this achieves is that he is trying to show a point by repeating the same phrase to show importance on that meaning.
