I could have looked at it like most people as just a pile of well, who knows what but, I decided to make the best of it. What shall I do? Where shall I start? Do I really want to be an exercise warrior or a sacrificial lamb at the plateau of a life altering endeavor? Only I would be able to decide if this challenge would consume me or if I would inevitably remain un-phased by this new task. Okay, I had made my decision the warrior part sounded better to me!
When you think of bodybuilders you probably think about a group of guys that lift weights all day and do nothing but intimidate others, but in reality it couldn’t be farther from the truth. Most bodybuilders are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. They will welcome you with open arms and help you overcome your challenges as they once did. Building your body can be one of the hardest things you will ever do, but it can also be one of the most rewarding.
So, I did my reps, reviewed online workouts, read bodybuilding magazines, and asked fitness gurus their secret bodybuilding techniques. After all, my ongoing research it was time for manual labor so I rolled up my sleeves and got to work. I picked out the proper workout clothes and other items such as a weightlifting belt for back protection, gloves to avoid the weights from slipping out of my hands, and the proper weight lifting shoes for proper balance and support. Now I was ready to begin a serious workout program which I created from my research.
My first day I was shaking with pure exhaustion, sweating profusely, and felt as if I couldn’t possibly do one more rep. Then, as I looked in the mirror, I felt a driving force I have never felt before I refused to put the weight down until I completed another rep. After my first workout I was hooked there is no other feeling in the world that can beat it. After my first workout I realized that even though my body wanted to give up I could keep going if I set it in my mind to preserve.
Weight lifting has given me a new outlook on life that I can reach any goal when I constantly put in the effort needed. Before I started weight lifting simple everyday tasks seemed impossible ,but after I started achieving my fitness goals and started seeing results, I realized nothing
