Student Suspension
The poem is about where a Tennessee High School student named Emily Gipson posted a video on YouTube named “Welcome to Lebanon High School.” This video is about how she thinks of her school. Instead of sugar coating what she said, she told what she thought of how the school handles bullying. “Welcome to Lebanon High School, where smiles are fake and suicide prevention is something to laugh at.” When she uploaded this on January 22nd on whatever year it was, the school had mixed opinions. One of the biggest things though was that upon review, she received a 2 day suspension.
