There was much resistance among men manly due to prejudices and overall the mindset embedded in their culture. Historian Wendy Goldman does believe that the state did made effort in this area however it was the prejudices on the local level that prevented the state's official attitude to establish itself in society.14 In additin, various researches for the state found the lack of cooperation disturbing. Moreover, the lack of achieving real positive consequence were slim. Someone from the representative from the Crimea states said that the new leaders did not much to improve women's situation and the local leadership did not change attitude.17 It seems to be that the party did attempt to challenge discrimination against women, yet although the party themselves officially stated its changed attitude, in reality they were not entirely adapted to the idea yet.
