Mapping your future My chosen degree program at Kaplan University is Medical Office Management. On May 2012, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) found that medical services managers earned a median annual salary of $88,580.They also expect that between 2012 and 2022 employment could increase by as much as 23% for medical services managers. Many employers don't require certifications, but it certainly doesn't hurt to have one. Office managers may be certified as a CMOM (Certified Medical Office Manager) or some other office role such as a CPC (Certified Professional Coder) But, for me the plan its to come back to Kaplan University for my Bachelors in Healthcare Administration. At the moment I don’t have require to have any certain program accreditations. A medical office manager is responsible for the overall operations of a medical practice.
