Some may say that Wentworth Cheswell was not the most influential person in the revolutionary war because he was only a school teacher, was african american, and having a spot in the government. Wentworth had a total of 13 kids, at 21 he had become an established and educated property owner. He was a very interesting man and did not like moving around. Wentworth went to school, the Academy of Byfield, Massachusetts. He went to school for four years and studied Latin, Greek, swimming, horsemanship, reading, writing, and arithmetic. In 1637 he came home and became a school teacher. He became a property owner by the age of 21. Wentworth held some type of government from 1768 to 1817. He was also a school teacher.
