Money! Something everyone wants all the time. Basketball, the sport only requires a basketball and a hoop, by far the cheapest sport in the United States. Populated cities partake in higher rates of low-income families than a smaller town. Athletes from non-cities experience more options of other sports to play in because of the fewer activities and higher incomed families. City players usually do not encounter as many opportunities to play other sports or do not acquire the money to play sports like football or hockey. The same goes to the gameplay of basketball. City players like to play with different rules compared to the rules by suburb players. City players become more physical and develop a faster pace in the game. For example; the “no take back” rule in the city, makes players more physical by wanting to grab the rebound, if the player missed the basket. Suburban players play with the “take-back” rule, which does not develop players to be as physical as a city player. The “take-back” rule also consumes more time than the “no take back” rule, thus city players develop a faster game style.
