Regional Health Information Organization (RHIO) is helping to rely on technology for healthcare information in medical institutes throughout the US. Still at the beginning stages more than one hundred RHIOs have been formed. Health care providers still have a lot of work to because there still using paper documents and have not transitioned to online data.
National Health Information Network (NHIN) is the set of standards used for the security exchange of information over the internet. National Health Information Network is the basis for health information for varieties of healthcare facilities throughout the United States. Also, these health care facilities are responsible for the security and privacy of the consumer’s information.
