For my piece of English coursework we had to find and analyse five sources in order for our coursework to be a reasonably good piece of graded writing. In my writing I used a wide selection of sources from famous literary pieces to hyperlinks to News articles relative to the subject our Speech had been themed on, which in this case was whether we personally were for or against the Death Penalty.
My first source was a famous literary piece called ‘How to Kill a Mockingbird,’ published in 1960 by Harper Lee. This novel is wrote in the perspective of a young tomboyish girl named Scout, who was forced to grow up under extraordinary circumstances in the 1930’s in South America.
