To Hannah Baker all thirteen reasons had equal importance following one another leading to her suicide. To start off, Hannah had a crush on Justin Foley and when they went to the park together they held hands and kissed, but to Justin he believed they did much more(Asher 28). After that day rumors had started to go around about what had happened between those two at the park which leads up to other problems throughout the story. Furthermore, after the incident at the park one of her friends, Alex Standall, had made his “Hot or Not” list putting her good friend ,Jessica, on the not list while she was on the hot list causing problems between the two of them(Asher 37-39). If Alex’s list had not been made it could have helped stop the rumors
