The judicial branch holds the power of the court system. Whereas in the executive and legislative office is elected by the people. Judicial office is elected by the president and confined by congress. The judicial branch oversees all court cases and also explains all laws made by congress. Within the judicial branch there is the Supreme Court which is the highest court. It consists of 9 Supreme Court justices with no ending terms in office. Federal judges can only be removed from office through impeachment and conviction through congress. Its main responsibility is to oversee all laws and upholds them within legality.
The three branches of the United States government together uphold government, given distinct responsibilities within each branch. The power of the president, congress, and the judicial systems protects our rights as citizens as stated in the constitution. It governs our freedom from oppression and anyone who tries willing to violate our rights.
