Two Aunts own a house with a son named Teddy. Mortimer comes into the house and after greeting the family he discovers a dead body under the bench seat under a window. Mortimer discovers the body and immediately blames it on the somewhat crazy teddy. When she tells her aunt she does not say it was teddy. Abby begins to explain how the man that was killed was Adam Hostkins. He had been poisened. Abby hid the body so the dr would not find him. At the biginning teddy was digging the cellar and you and then told he is doing that to hide the body. Abby then begins to tell Mortimer that they have killed more than one person and Mortimer begins to realize how homosidal and killing crazy they are. Einstein quickly returns and confides to Jonathan that there is a hole large enough to bury Mr. Spenalzo (a man Jonathan recently killed) after everyone goes to bed. Once the lights are out and everyone is supposedly asleep, Teddy goes to the window seat to get Mt. Hoskins, Jonathan and Einstein go to their car to get Mr. Spenalzo, both planning on filling the hole in the cellar. As new characters come in the play gets more intense but in the end Einstein is a fake signatures person the aunts leave to house to Mortimer and his soon to be wife and they completely cover up the murders to make everything go away they got away with murder. Trying to stay sane without sending his aunts to prison, Mortimer ecstatically agrees when his aunts insist on going to Happy Dale with their nephew. The aunts then kindly inform Mortimer that he is actually not a member of the Brewster family. He was an illegitimate child and this can marry Elaine without fear of passing the Brewster insanity on to his children. Mortimer happily departs, but before the women leave their house, they offer a drink to the head of Happy Dale, Mr.
