Eisenhower filled many rolls as discussed previously and these jobs were not to be taken lightly. Much time and effort went in to making decisions that would impact the world. Honor is the fifth army value Eisenhower upheld the army values without fail to carry on the honor of the military. Eisenhower also carried on the honor of the generals before him and left an honorable legacy behind him.
The sixth army value is integrity. There was a situation where General Patton slapped a soldier that was suffering from shock and Eisenhower reprimanded Patton. This showed that even a general must abide by the rules and that Eisenhower would not turn a blind eye to the mistreatment of a solider.
