The inspirational book The Sun Does Shine, written by Anthony Ray Hinton and Lara Love Hardin, describes the hardships and prejudices that Hinton, a 29 year old African American man, had to endure when he was falsely accused of a crime he did not commit. After he was arrested, he was not too concerned because he was hopeful that the truth would establish his innocence and that the judicial system would see that this was a case of mistaken identity.
