1. Homelessness in Anaheim
In Anaheim, there is more than 900 people that suffer from homelessness. That’s a fifth of the total homeless population in all of Orange County. The camp is a 2-mile stretch and a 2-mile eyesore. Some people have been living there for more than 2 years. Some homeless aren’t grateful for the help they are being given. They say there’s too many rules to be at the homeless shelters. These homeless people are there due to poverty, drug abuse, and mental health issues. They have to move out of the camp two weeks from the 8th of January of the current year.
2. Prostitution
14 & 15 year olds were prostituted very close to Disneyland. If they seek police help, they are most likely put into prison. Police Officers are harming them instead of giving them the help they need. Prostitution is an issue on Harbor St. through Garden Grove and Santa Ana. Police officers rather pursue these cases, because they are easier to catch than with career criminals (repeat offenders). There can be up to 17 arrests a night. These individuals are booked and then released to have space for more serious crimes. Prostitution seems to be associated with drug use.

Therefore, 32 cents of every dollar have been going into the improvement of roads. Yet, I see no improvement. OCTA has been trying to make a faster bus route on Harbor due to its popularity most likely related to Disneyland employees. This project received 2% of the 4% given to the bus
