Newton contributed to the rise of the Black Panthers group and escalated his right to protest. Although, some of his choices and acts were a little unjustified he was trying to display his use of weariness of the ongoing problem of racial discrimination. Even if that meant getting arrested and going to jail for what he believed in, as long as everyone and African-Americans see that what was taking place in America was an unjustified issue.
