Roderigo has a susceptible mind which exports his feelings for Desdemona throughout the play. Upon the subject of her occupation with Othello, he thinks he should be the Romeo to her Juliet. He lets his feelings get the best of him and makes plans with Iago to eliminate Othello, phasing out their marriage, and thus making available.
